Mixed media succulent string of pearls in a hanging basket. A combination of photography, acrylic painting and paper weaving. Starting with a set of photographic images these were combined to create an abstract background which was printed onto acid free paper and mounted onto board. The hanging basket is made from strips of woven paper.
Created to demonstrate how photography can be used in the art making process and doesn't necessary have to be a photo as the finished piece.
